Purchase Options and Cancellation Policy

At Smith Board Co., we offer flexible purchase options to better fit your needs — including subscriptions, pre-orders, and try-before-you-buy options.
This policy explains how you can manage, change, or cancel these types of purchases.


Subscriptions

When you purchase a subscription, you'll receive repeat deliveries based on the duration and frequency you select.

  • Your payment details will be securely stored and you will be charged automatically for each delivery, unless you choose to prepay in advance.
  • Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their term. If you do not wish to renew, you can cancel at any time.
  • To manage or cancel your subscription, use the link provided in your order confirmation email. You can update your subscription preferences directly from there.

Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order, you are reserving an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product.

  • We may collect either no payment, a partial deposit, or full payment at checkout, depending on the product.
  • Your payment method will be securely stored, and the full or remaining balance will be charged when your order is fulfilled and ready to ship.
  • You can cancel a pre-order that has not yet been fulfilled by contacting us at support@smithboardco.com.
  • Once a pre-order has been fulfilled and shipped, cancellations are no longer possible — but you may still be eligible for a return or refund under our Return and Refund Policy.

Try Before You Buy

For certain products, we offer a try-before-you-buy program so you can experience your board before committing to a full purchase.

  • We authorize your payment method at the time of order but do not charge it immediately.
  • You will have a set trial period (as outlined at checkout) to decide if you want to keep the item.
  • If you keep the item beyond the trial period, your payment method will be automatically charged for the full purchase amount.
  • If you decide not to keep the item, you must return it within the trial period following the return instructions provided.
